As of now, ÁLIA boasts a brand-new kindergarten and a brand-new school, with at least five more educational institutions for children aged 3 to 17 due to open in the district in the coming years. Designed by the award-winning international bureau ASADOV, the kindergarten measures 3,800 sq. m and can accommodate up to 300 preschoolers while the 825-student school has a total area of 12,400 sq. m.
The school’s specialization is reflected in its architecture, design, and functional features. The building includes 33 classrooms, a laboratory to conduct experiments in, an IT training center, several creativity studios, two gymnasiums, a library, a cafeteria, and a medical unit. The skylight atrium normally serves as a 250-seat auditorium but can also be used as a lecture hall or leisure space. The school grounds feature a stadium, greenhouses, a shaded recreational area, and playground equipment.
ASTERUS plans to complete ÁLIA’s three other kindergartens and two more schools by 2034. Combined, the seven educational institutions will offer classes to a total of 900 preschoolers and 1,825 schoolchildren each year. All of the kindergartens and schools in ÁLIA will operate as part of the state-funded School No. 58. Furthermore, a new healthcare clinic is set to open in ÁLIA within the next decade. It will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed with dozens of experienced physicians, providing up to 750 patient consultations a day.
